Responsible Gaming

Decide the boundaries before any bet is placed

Set the amount you are willing to spend before you start, and treat that amount as already spent the moment you commit it. Deciding in advance removes the pressure of making a judgment call in the middle of play, when it is hardest to think clearly.

Never chase a loss by increasing a stake to win back what has gone. A loss chased with a bigger stake usually becomes a bigger loss, and the decision to chase is rarely made with a clear head.

Keep gambling money separate from money that is borrowed or needed elsewhere. If the money is earmarked for rent, bills or debt repayment, it is not available for gambling regardless of how confident a bet feels.

Take breaks during a session rather than playing continuously. A short pause gives you a chance to notice whether you are still enjoying yourself or simply continuing out of habit.

Involve someone else as soon as gambling stops feeling like entertainment. Speaking to a partner, friend or family member early is easier than dealing with a bigger problem alone later.

Find independent help organisations linked on every page

Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: BeGambleAware, Gambling Therapy and GamCare. These are the only outbound links on the site that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites.

This site receives nothing when a reader follows one of those three links. They are placed here purely as an independent point of contact away from anything commercial on this site.

Know where account controls actually live

Controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion belong to an operator account. This build has no account, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch one of these controls on, check its status or enforce it.

Anything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site. Each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that moment the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here. If you want to set a limit on your play, that limit is arranged inside an account at the destination site, not on this page.

Understand what this page cannot check

The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this build, including on the front page, but nobody's age is verified on this site and no gambling takes place on it. Any age check happens at the destination once you follow a link there.

No advertising or behavioural profiling network is present in these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader who has shown risky behaviour. This page can point you toward the three organisations listed above and toward the practical habits described earlier, but it cannot monitor your play, apply a limit or confirm your identity. Those functions exist only inside an account at the site an operator link takes you to.
